Well I wasn't gonna sail. We had a drink in the pub overlooking the harbour after walking around the beach area, and marvelling at the huge houses on sandbanks (when I win the lottery). So I said alright an hour or so. The tide was rising well by 2pm as I got in the water. I've not sailed Poole much. It is weird reaching out for 100s of meters to fall off and be able to stand up. The wind gradually built. My gybes were going really well, 80%+ dry on the little board, felt real good. Tried a couple of ducks and got totally soaked ( not STOKED). Still great little sail really super fast blasting and floaty chop hopping. I packed after an hour and a half so we could go and do some more sight seeing. Yup well worth it!
